I feel you on this! There are times I get lured in by titles, and the articles may not teach me anything, or give me anything of value, so it can be difficult to leave a valuable comment.

This is why instead of saying "Hey, read other peoples work and leave comments," I say, "Hey, read other peoples work that you actually like and leave comments stating what you got out of it." I don't think there is any point of leaving comments on pieces you didn't genuinely enjoy, that's just the same as the follow for follow method, at least to me.
