See this is where I’ve always struggled, even going back to my college days taking criminology. On one hand, people like this deserve to lose their lives and keeping them in prison costs money they’re not worth. On the other, I feel like having them “rot” in prison is a far worse sentence than the easy way out (so to speak) of death. I’ve never been able to fully pick a side.
